Welcome to ReelQuest. By downloading, installing, or using the ReelQuest mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReelQuest, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ReelQuest provides the following features:

• Movie discovery and browsing (trending, popular, top-rated, upcoming, and now playing)
• Movie details with trailers, cast information, and ratings
• QR code and barcode scanning
• A memory card matching game using movie posters

3. Content and Data Sources

Movie data, images, and trailers displayed in the App are sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All movie-related content is the property of their respective owners.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's backend services
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any of its content
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App

5. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that ads will be shown and that they help support the free availability of the App. Ad content is managed by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies.

6. QR Scanner

The QR Scanner feature requires camera permission. The camera is used solely for scanning QR codes and barcodes. We do not record, store, or transmit any camera data. You are responsible for the content you scan and any actions you take based on scan results (such as opening URLs).

7. Intellectual Property

The ReelQuest app design, logo, and original code are the intellectual property of the ReelQuest team. Movie posters, trailers, and related media are the property of their respective copyright holders and are displayed under fair use via the TMDB API.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Movie data accuracy depends on TMDB and may not always be current.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReelQuest and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties.
